Lichen Team of the University of Tartu (UT Lichen Team) is a group of researchers and graduate students interested in lichens. Our research includes variety of subjects related to lichens: systematics, species relationships and delimitation of evolutionarily significant units; species ecology and distribution and the factors affecting these; lichens in Estonia, their distribution patterns, endangered species, and species protection; lichens as indicators for different factors or objects (e.g. air pollution; old, invaluable forests).
UT Lichen Team is a part of the Institute of Ecology and Earth Sciences, Department of Botany. We are situated in the Tartu University Botanical Garden, Lai 38, Tartu, Estonia. Our email addresses and telephone numbers: People » [person’s page].
